What I enjoyed about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse the most perhaps was just how innovative it was with the animation. For too long animated films have focused too much on the well known 'Pixar-look' of the same character design, lighting, and color. I enjoyed how Spider-Man took an entirely new approach to animation that will hopefully shake-up the rest of the animation industry. The writing and execution is also amazing. This is far and away my favorite film this year so far.
