I looked so forward to this new adaptation of the beloved classic. What a mess, backwards, forwards, so confusing, if you know the book by heart, as some do, perhaps you could follow it, but this rambling mess just doesn’t do it for me. Beth dies, then is seen putting flowers on the fence for Megs wedding ! Laurie is a wet waste of time, never dressed correctly for the formality of the period and position expected of him, why would any of them Marry him ?? The ending was the best part, not just because it finally came to an end, but it always is, with Jo and her writing.
