I asked for this book for Christmas. It was one f the best books I have ever read. It was nerve racking, heart warming and so informative. It was so amazing the stories that are out there that should be told. Thank you for your research and telling the untold stories of such an impactful time in our county. After I read books I usually sell them or donate them. I will keep this one because I liked it so much and so glad I got it. I remember a soldier from our small little neighborhood that was killed in the war and how we were impacted by that. Thank you so much
