I thought it highly entertaining as one who followed DA for 6 seasons. It's a movie and with a popcorn and drink, provided 2 hours of escape from the usual BS on the news. I first saw Gosford Park some years ago and knew Fellowes had it in hand.
Remember folks, don't take life too seriously. Nothing like a good movie even with the opening fanfare.
