If I could give negative stars, I would. This isn’t a horror movie - that’s just the bait & switch move that the movie-makers used to appeal to non-religious moviegoers. (They point blank admit this in interviews - which I wish I’d seen before I wasted a good 25-30 minutes of my life watching before I jumped to the end.)
This movie is 98 minutes of Sean Patrick Flanery’s character (the inmate) preaching to the Jordan Belfi’s character (the non-believing doctor). It ends in the lazy & completely predictable moment that the non-believing doctor realizes that the inmate was a demon after all & that it’s too late to save his soul.
I cannot believe how many reviewers give this peace of junk positive reviews.
It’s not a horror movie at all - it’s a christian movie that is nothing but preaching to us sinners from start to finish.
