Powerful. Poignant. Poetic. It was a powerful experience listening to this memoir in the author’s voice through the point of view of his child self. It was so riveting I listened to it every moment I could. It moved me to tears, as well as opened my eyes to the broken state of immigration policies and the urgent need for reform. Courageous writing.
