It was too long with too much dialogue, yet I was mesmerized with Joaquin's portrayal of Napoleon. The battle scenes, especially at Waterloo, were emotionally charged. I came to watch the great military strategist, Napoleon, and would have like to see more focus on that aspect of the film rather than the sexual innuendos with Josephine, which in my opinion, interfered with their love story.
