Very imaginative story where humans are one of a very few mammalian species in a galaxy dominated by reptiles and inscectoids the occasional highly evolved slugs. Deeply indebted for massive data dumps we are apparently obliged to entertain offers of enslavement, or food, or gardeners. An inter Galactic game of extremely high stakes gambling ensues and we are not very good players.
