Man oh man where to start. Well let's start with the obvious, Michael Myers is in less than five minutes of the movie. The majority of the movie is spent on a new character (Corey) who is bullied in school and just waiting to snap! They basically stole Rob Zombie's remake ideas of a bullied kid who loses it but left out the better parts. Corey of course has a budding romance with Laurie's granddaughter and the two fall in love faster than two thumping rabbits. That never turns into anything worthwhile and the guy who plays Corey is just so cringe. JLC deserved a lot better of a send off than this as did James Judge Courtney. The biggest and most annoying thing is that the breif time you see Michael (Again 5 minutes) he is weak and being bullied by Corey a 17 or 18 year old weak teenager who was getting his rear kicked by a bunch of little sissy looking kids. The fact that they flat out made Myers a horror icon look like a feeble old man and reversed course on his ability to take inhuman amounts of damage is just sad. It's obvious this director just wanted to be done with this series. If you've seen the final season of game of thrones this is just like how bad it was but with the Halloween franchise. It's a shame Rob Zombie made a god awful Halloween 2 or I'd tell them to give him back the reigns. They could have so easily blew us away with a cool cameo (For instance Laurie's son that has just vanished from existence now) but nope they said how can we make this cheap and quick and not pay top tier actors.......Sorry for the book of a review but I've watched every movie and I never thought I'd see worse than Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 and Halloween Resurrection but man oh man this one was infinitely worse.
