It's a heart warming time every night for me and my (then) 8 year old special child. Now 14, he still wouldn't go to sleep without us having this special father-son bonding time. Before You Sleep reminded me of my whimsical grade school years, when I would usually be tasked to read a poem out loud in front of the class, realizing I incorporated those times, the way I read out to my child, with feelings and in full conviction. 6 years past, now I wish to purchase a new copy for my now 14 year and his 3 year old little brother. Very few works of art would appeal to me the way this book "Before You Sleep" and the legendary motion picture animation Spirited Away did.
