I didn't care for it. Very colorful, bright film. Just didn't do much for me. The original was so real and raw. The beginning of the original was so so good, and the officer Krumkee in the original was so much better. You cant remake a classic and that was what West Side Story is all about. The only film which equaled its original was Godfather II. No one loves Spielberg more than me but this was not or even close to the work he puts out.
