Kid Cudi's album is definitely not as good as his previous "Man on The Moon III." This was a HUGE step down from that. This album is a complete mess. Almost all of the songs were boring and repetitive. The only song I liked on this album was Blue Sky. Don't even get me started on the song with the X feature. They got a released song on 17 called "Orlando" and basically just copy+pasted it. The only differences are drums and Kid Cudi, and the song was trash and boring. This is just one example, that shows how bad this album is. I think Kid Cudi should retire (and I mean this in the nicest way possible).

Madvillainy is not just a collection of songs; it is a cohesive narrative that tells a story through each track. The album is split into two parts, with DOOM’s verses narrating a tale of a man’s descent into darkness and eventual redemption. This storytelling aspect of the album has garnered praise from critics and listeners alike, as it demonstrates the duo’s ability to create a fully-fledged concept album. I am very surprised that some people did not give this 5 stars. The unique storytelling, intricate lyricism, and diverse production all come together to create an album that is both a classic in the rap genre and a timeless piece of art.
