I watch a lot of movies and series. I’m a huge Costner fan too, which is why I was surprised at how much I didn’t like this movie. To be fair, I couldn’t get past the first 30 minutes of it. I was on a plane flying back to the US from Europe. We have a lot of choices of movies to watch, but only so much time, so one spends it wisely. The movie began with this sound track that just didn’t fit what I was watching. It was overkill. And then the acting, it wasn’t bad at all, but I could see all the actors acting as opposed to falling into the story and watching the characters develop. It just felt cheesy and overdone. I couldn’t keep watching it waiting for me to get hooked. I turned it off and watched Fall Guy, which, although it’s a campy romantic comedy, it kept my attention till the end.
