Straight up one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It was funny and gory, well paced, and comes at the story of Dracula from a completely unexpected and hilarious perspective. I'm also a big fan of both of the Nick's in this movie, and they didn't disappoint! I might even go see it again if it's still in theaters my next day off!
If you're big into traditional vampire lore though, this one might not be for you. It very much takes the bare bones of vampire lore and just has fun with it, which I love to see personally, because retellings of the same story over and over just get boring. This movie is also very much focused on Renfield and his attempts to get out of a toxic codependent relationship with Dracula, which as a premise is just ridiculous on its own and gives the movie a good base for most of its comedy. If you like comedy horror and can keep an open mind with minimal expectations for the vampire lore, you'll probably like this movie! It's just a silly, good time, and I hope it gets the popularity it deserves.
