Really classy movie. I have watched it on Amazon Prime. This may not be your masala flick. But don't miss it if you are ready to enjoy performance of actors.
Thanks to our industry critics or can I can Critic Industry , who so got used to the adrenaline from Pan India and Pan Masala flicks , that they can't help but give low rating to a movie where actors really have put the efforts to act rather than overact, in their own natural spaces.
This is not your Pushpa or RRR. We are happy to praise natural expressions of Malayalam actors, but discourage our own Industry efforts.
In fact it is a smooth movie. Emotions could have been more commercial if meant to meet critic gangs' expectations. But personally I prefer natural emotions.
After reading the reviews, I watched half heartedly. But after watching the movie, I felt that If critics tell how to make a movie, why should any director write stories and make movies? Critics may criticise but they should not kill a writer's will to present emotions.
The average dabba critic is unfortunately not my kind of person who can only appreciate Seeta Ramam. They should have the mindset to appreciate to absorb all genres of emotional movies.
I am now sure why Telegu cinema failed to deliver national award winning movies.
