As a recent nursing school graduate, I recommend this book to the 20 somethings’ who are trying to navigate their life. This book spoke about the truths of growing up. As a young adult, you go through many hardships that go unmentioned. I believe Jess exhibited the facts of adulthood well and mentioned vulnerable moments that we may experience throughout this time. The only negative aspect I have to mention pertains to the “ads” that are displayed throughout each chapter. As an author who is trying to portray the world in a different mindset, I find it odd that she felt the need to promote her business in a “sketchy”, for lack of better words, manner. At times, it felt like this book was a scam because of the unneeded information of products that were discussed. All in all, I enjoyed this read but believe there is room for improvement.
