I've never written a review for a tv show before, but I just finished Dollface and felt like I needed to share how much I liked it.
If you are a woman between the ages of 25-30 you should definitely be able to relate in some way, shape or form. It was real, authentic and hilarious. Also so relevant to current female culture.
The trailer for the show does definitely not do it justice. The only reason I watched is because a friend told me to watch.
I loved Brenda Song and Shay Mitchell in it. At first I thought Izzy (Esther Povitsky) was going to end up being the annoying, wannabe funny friend but she ended up being the perfect mix of weird / quirky / hilarious. I am also not a huge fan of Kat Dennings but she definitely grew on me a bit throughout the show. The first episodes were a little slow while the plot was being built, but by the time I got to episode 5 & 6 I found myself laughing for the majority of the episodes.
