Probably one of the worst romcoms I’ve seen in a while….and that says a lot! This movie is poorly advertised. It’s misleading, you think it’s a classic romcom but it gets too dark too fast for my taste. Romcoms really shouldn’t deal with too much conflict outside of relationship conflicts like “girl meets boy….boy moves away” kinda conflict but when you step into conflict that isn’t controllable with very little life lessons you’ve lost me. This movie barely deserves 1 star I mean I’m being nice by giving it that. I rarely say hate but I want to say “I hate this film”. If you’re smart you’ll save yourself the 1hr 49min and go do LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE.
