Even though show was great, I don't believe all of those contestants had equal chances of winning.
It should have been teams up until the end, otherwise well rounded male athletes had higher chance of winning, and that's exactly what happened.
Did producers really expect a lightweight flexible athlete winning a rope pulling contest???
