Everything is executed brilliantly. But towards the end, director couldn't convince viewers that his hero is richer (literally) from all the experience he had to go through.
Rather than being brief about character build up, more than half of the movie was focused on Sibi's back story, which feels alien towards the end.
I must say, execution of fantasy scenes was laughable and out of context. If director wanted to bring magical realism into it, we neither felt it realistic nor magical.
Weak excuses to bring fantasy scenes in, like Sibi waking up from a very realistic dream only adds to the confusion.
I have seen those kind of scenes in many movies like Pan's labyrinth, Amelie, but, here it's just vague and doesn't add any more mystery to the story, but more annoyance.
If I have a say in it, I would remove Mamta's character and lengthen Fahad's scenes in the Jungle. Especially, when he is alone and going crazy eating mushrooms( bit obvious). It'd have been greater if director chose a non linear narrative for storytelling.
