The idea that he's writing a book about how he handled a crisis that's still going on is completely asinine, not to mention New York is perhaps the biggest epicenter of COVID in the country. If his lockdowns and other protocols worked that wouldn't be the case, but no, he forced COVID patients into nursing homes where vulnerable elderly people were in even more danger. He brought the economy to a screeching halt, resulting in a huge spike in unemployment and homelessness, and yes THOSE led to plenty of deaths. But by all means go ahead and pat yourself over the back, graciously accept that Emmy for your “strong and courageous leadership” during a pandemic that you exacerbated in your own state. Completely despicable, this book AND the author. He should be voted out.
