Fun film that worked straight… and has a lot of layers if you want to examine it more than superficially. Is it really Dulce in the happy ending? Is it a magic realism Ala Gabriel Garcia Marquez? Or is it a young boy’s journey through PURGATORY? it had several of us discussing after it was over, and still contemplating it the next day.

Excellent movie with excellent performers. Thankfully, history remembers Oppie and Groves for the profound and practical impact their bomb had on mankind rather than excoriates them. Loved that it highlighted the rather horrid treatment he suffered at the US Government’s hands after the fact.
