So much wasted potential. The story was about the only good part and by good I mean like a 7/10. Learning about guardians past life is a neat idea which could be expanded on. Give us a mission playing as cayde 6 as a former spec ops? Really opens up the possibilities. Matterspark... Where do I begin. This is the new feature we interact with along with mattermorph and the portal gun. They are glorified puzzle mechanics. Thats it. They do not enhance gameplay at all. A portal gun that could be shot anywhere would have been a fun idea, but we just got a lame version where you can only shoot it in a few predetermined areas. Matterspark would be awesome if you could pop in and out of it quickly during combat, but no. Its total ass. I would have preferred new aspects over this crap. The loot is trash as well. They give you 5 new guns to play with during gthe campaign. They all suck. Only 1 new armor set during campaign. New exotic armor trash as well. They tried really hard to make me uninterested in the new gear. It seems they are holding a lot back to drip feed and keep the whales hanging around. Do not buy this expansion.
