Definitely the best Marvel movie this year, hands down. Is it the best Spider-Man movie yet? No, but in my top 3. I think it's easy to get carried away as it's the best movie since the Infinity Saga was concluded but I think after it's digested you can start picking out the minor flaws in the plot/movie. What this movie does do well is the roller coaster ride of emotion you're on the whole movie. From sadness to humour and from darkness to nostalgia. The movie has all those parts to it and keeps you well fed the whole movie. But before you claim it's the best ever, really think about certain parts of the movie, real hard! There is quite a few loose ends that never get tied up and leaves you pondering. Spider-Man 2 (Toby Maguire) is still the number 1 for me but the Tom Holland trilogy is overall the best of the lot and arguably had the best "departing" movie.
