I enjoyed this movie. I am a very religious christen. I honestly went into this movie with the mind set that there was a 50/50 chance that it would be mocking the story of the birth of Christ. But it didn’t. It is more lighthearted and has some comedy, but the main focus is having faith and trusting god. God has a plan for everyone and it may not be easy, but we need to have faith and trust in him. They put their own creative spin on it, which we were told from the very beginning. We have been told the whole time that it is a retelling and musical. It is a good family movie. I loved the cast and music. I can’t wait to buy it!
