I don't normally write reviews for movies unless I really enjoyed or really hated it. This is a movie I could watch many times again. The story was generic but in the best way possible. The development between Roz and Brightbill was heartwarming as well as between Roz and Fink. Many other characters were memorable like Pinktail and Longneck. None of the characters felt unnecessary or simply there for comedic effect. Yes, there were humorous moments but they felt naturally part of the story. Also, the visual aspect was gorgeous. While it was a small step-down from Puss in Boots Last Wish, it made sense as the story was more grounded in reality. That's another great aspect of the movie. How real to reality it was. It didn't shy away from serious moments and dealt with the topic of parenthood and death maturely. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone.
