Byomkesh is BYOMKESH but as much as I love Byomkesh, I feel like the movie didn't do justice to the plot. The first half of the movie shows stuff that has no relationship with thrill or suspense. It just makes the answer even more obvious. People were literally waiting for the character to die and for the real action to begin. And by the time the action did begin in the second half, people already knew the solution. I was expecting some kind of a twist to happen but it was as obvious as clear water. Satyabati's character was really passive and dumb which isn't true. So all in all I suggest if you want a thriller, watch something else but if you want to show your love for Byomkesh and hear his witty remarks, go for it. Because let's be honest, it's BYOMKESH.
