This story is the bravery of 124 kumaon regiment soldiers which Major Shaitan Singh Bhati was the commanding officer. The Chinese attacked Rezang La pass and our soldiers fought bravely to the last man and last bullet. Major Shaitan Singh was awarded Param Veer Chakra posthumously.
