A story that should be about half its volume. Descriptive writing to the point of obsession and shallow enough to be easily identified as nothing more than filler to stretch out this annoyingly repetitive novel.
I enjoyed the poetic aspect of some of the the work, but her relationship with Luke becomes predictable. Melodrama. Tedious and lacks action and adventure. Flat story line. Often felt like throwing it against the wall just to escape it, but I was too far in... Luke, the sophomoric antagonist reminds me of a soap opera villain. Art school kid story. Twenty- somethings and teens will like it.
