A lot of people on here never saw the movie or probably never will and remained silent when there was a black Cinderella and a Hawaiian Ariel before her. Keep your mind open and watch the movie. Melissa McCarthy stole the show. Only gripe was that they had one song with the sidekicks that didn’t fit in but fit well with Lin Manual Miranda. Alan Menken did great as always with the score as did with Howard Ashman’s original lyrics (a homosexual who died from AIDS after his work on Beauty and the Beast.)
