I usually don't write reviews, even if I consider something extremely bad or extremely good, but I felt like writing a review for this movie. I loved it! I am not into formula 1 in the first place, but I like cars and even though I'm not very knowledgeable, I wanted to see if it was good. Including Brad Pitt being the lead actor, I felt the role suited him so well and watching him win back the love of the fans, including the love for f1 driving, it was beautiful. I loved the way Hayes was so honest about what was important to him, as an experienced, older driver, that it wasn't the titles or the ''noise'' of everything else, it was the peace and quiet inside the car, and the love for driving. The scene truly touched me on a deeper level, seeing a man who had lost everything and gained nothing but the knowledge of what it's like to reminisce for an old feeling of peace. The teamwork you slowly see build up as each race goes by was also mesmerizing. I very much enjoyed this movie, though I did not expect to, as I am critical of movies (harsh endings, undeveloped plots, or sudden scenes that were made too quickly, or too slow). If anyone out there enjoys F1 even more than I do, or loves cars, this would definitely be on top of their watch list.
