This show is a prime example of begging the question. From the outset it assume there is a “god” to learn about, and assumes other supernatural/divine claims are something that could even be investigated. It promotes a way of thinking that is impervious to critical thinking by endorsing unfalsifiable beliefs. Along the way they implant these “science experiments” that allegedly “confirm” things like god, a soul, divinity, etc. and once the show has got their sound bit and had Freeman spout their carefully crafted scripted narration they move along as if to show science confirms that these fairytales people believe have the backing of the scientific method which is extremely dishonest. This show is heavy handed and panders to believers by speaking with certainty on things that will make believers feel justified in their beliefs, and vague enough as to not offend believers when talking about beliefs that would contradict their belief simply by existing in some cases. Nat Geo should be ashamed of this garbage.
