This film is a fantastic beginning to a new saga of Lana wants to do it if not I have no doubt that the WB will run with it themselves. The action maybe a few and far between but that’s not what this film is about, it’s about the love story that was cut short and that had not been able to blossom before death came knocking at the end of Revelations. From interviews that Lana has done and understanding that she wrote this story while grieving the loss of her parents, I totally can see why this represents neo and trinity as her parents and giving them the farewell that she needed to process that grief within a story to bring them back and hold on to the love story that was started in the original trilogy. The story is easy to follow even if you have not seen the original trilogy. All the nods back to the original films are greatly placed and needed for the fans. I love the nods to the fact that we as a current society are plugged into our mobile devices 24/7 and that we need to wake up from the social media bulls$%t that is all fake and look at the real world and sort out this mess that the world is in and stop this fake a$% news rubbish. Here’s hoping that this will springboard another 2 films to give us an ending to the Matrix where in the end man and machine can co exists.
