I turned it off an hour and 2 min in when they recycled another joke from the first movie. This whole film is a poorly regurgitated version of the first. Such a bummer, just glad I didn’t spend money on movie tickets to see it before it got in Disney plus. Also super disappointing to see that the majority of the 5 star reviews are bots or AI generated. Not even something I think kids would find funny especially sense the references from the first movie are so poorly done. The characters are boring and predictable and the desperate attempt to put together an underdog team just came off disconnected and tacky. I’m really over Disneys attempt at neurodivergent characters because they just play into inaccurate stereotypes and come on can we all just agree that butt jokes are just not funny, and it’s super low brow humor to potion an old man ass up while another character looks square into his brown starfish. Not funny, tacky, wasn’t even worth watching the last 30 min. But who am I to say, I’m a full blown adult reviewing a kids movie so take it with a grain of salt.
