Intense acting performances, engaging characters, creepy developments. I don't understand those who say it's about drug induced psychosis. It isn't. It's about co-depency, being vulnerable, being hurt and lonely. Ultimately it is a very sad and shocking film. An absolute must watch, but yes it won't be to everyone's taste, particularly if you like run of the mill big budget special effects and superhero movies.
