New fan here. Never played the older Saints Row but dumped close to a thousand hours into GTAV. I decided to buy this game on a whim a day before release because the Southwest environment caught my attention. Been having a blast! The game is whacky and fun. There’s a lot to do and find and a lot clever little things within the game. I jumped online after around 10hours of playing the game to see some tips and reviews and was shocked by the drama and controversy around this game lol… I understand everyone’s opinion is different and not everyone will like this but I see reviews saying the graphics are 20 years old, and the worst game EVER which to me makes no sense. Try playing rocketeer on NES and tell me this is worst lol. Also, compare these graphics to an actual 20yr old game. I saw a review showing the older saints row game and this reboots graphics blows it out of the water technically, no doubt about it. Sure it’s no Eldens Ring or Ghost of Tsuchima but to say it’s the worst graphics ever is reaching IMO. It’s like a trend to hate this game because although it’s not for everyone, the trashing of this game seems personal and overboard lol… I really don’t understand the pure hate people seem to have for this game lol but to a new player who didn’t know much about the franchise, I been having a blast!
