Taare Zameen Par is a film that, while well-intentioned, tends to overdramatize its message. The storytelling feels overly sentimental, often forcing emotions rather than letting them develop naturally. Aamir Khan's character takes too much spotlight, overshadowing the child protagonist in the second half. The pacing is slow, especially in the beginning, which makes it hard to stay engaged. The movie simplifies the issue of dyslexia, presenting a very one-size-fits-all solution. At times, it feels more like a lecture than a cinematic experience. The emotional manipulation through music and visuals becomes repetitive and heavy-handed. It doesnโt fully explore the education systemโs flaws with enough depth or realism. The side characters are poorly developed and feel like mere props to the story. Overall, itโs a film that tries too hard to be inspirational and ends up being preachy and unbalanced.
