It's realistic to an extent, but one sided. The director made the man look bad. Only the man here has committed sins. What the director depicted of the man is realistic. Highly realistic, but again it's one sided.
I think the more realistic depiction would have women breaking the rules too. Women do use their sexuality for power and none of that was depicted here. Women also disrespect men who don't do as well as them. It's not just the man who will dump the women once the power dynamics shift towards the woman but actually the woman will look at the man with contempt as well. Women marry up and have the capacity to be extremely cruel and evil. Women definitely monkey branch and if the woman continuously performs better than the man, she will break off the relationship, EVEN if the man behaved correctly.
In short, realistic movie, but one sided, it displayed the dark side of masculinity but failed to even portray an inkling of the dark side of femininity.
Anything but Fair play. Also actress is super hot.
