Worth the hype. This is a masterpiece in every way. The tone perfectly fits a year two batman who still believes his principal goal is one thing. Vengeance. Batman does detective work for the first time in ages and it is a much-welcomed change. The cast is just stellar top to bottom. The score also befits the grimiest and most real Gotham we've ever seen. This may be the best batman flick ever.
