We love all Jordan’s movies, somehow we are missing something in this movie. Maybe it needed a big audience to watch and react together or maybe we just didn’t understand the message this time. Did not like this one. Can’t wait for his next project though, very talented writer and director- we will definitely buy tickets to keep this guy making movies in the future! Loved the acting in this though. So talented.

I am new to Korean drama, having watched only ten so far. Each has been the same script with different actors, until I watched “Romance is a Bonus Book”. The storyline, actors, character development was over the moon! If they had ten more seasons I would be hooked and glued to my screen. I laughed, I cried, I felt hope. These characters touched my soul by acting out many of my own feelings throughout different times in my 51years. Starting a new job, starting a new romance, and starting over are all themes we can relate to on a very personal level. As an American, this show has shown me the character of the South Korean culture and reminded me how to be the kind, courageous, and empathetic person we should be towards those I travel through life with. I recommend this amazing show to all cultures all people with a common thread of love, it’s what binds us together as human beings. Do not miss your chance to be moved on an all new level, watch “Romance is a Bonus Book”.
