Perfect relaxing arty-market crime solving with nice hint of comedy and with two very good lead actors who’s characters you care about and just might get together, hopefully, all set in beautiful French village. Ie it has all the ingredients of a reality distracting crime investigating drama much needed during Covid times. Also good to have another middle aged lead female investigator and some interesting somewhat diverse supporting cast and one off episode characters, even the over the top characters fit ie Brits abroad. Yes I also began thinking this was afternoon fare but since I only have my iPad to watch TV on, I have nothing else to beat it on most Saturday nights. It doesn’t make me jump out of my chair like Bodyguard but instead it comforts me. As I hinted, during Covid times we need a little something that probably will end relatively well, not even too perfectly, just positively in the right direction, each week.
