Thought it was a great movie with a surprise twist I did not expect. As for the critics they probably did not grow up watching these monster movies so their bad reviews are just BS. It's about watching these movies as if you were a kid and that's what the critics don't get. I thought the origin story line was great. It fit into the theme of the Godzilla and Kong movies.
