Spoilers were correct. Read the spoilers and save yourself from wasting 142 minutes and $15. Terrible. No-plot. No character development. No logic. Super OVERPOWERED "hero" Rey....and that ending... awful.

This is a movie that needs to be seen in the theater! Go sit in the back of the biggest screen you can find, and enjoy. Great movie, that grabs you in the beginning, and does not let go, even though "it is time to let go." Very fitting end to Maverick's story. Beautifully shot. Very immersive experience. A little too much M:I meets Mav at the end...but that is what movies are...as suspension of disbelief. Great casting with age appropriate actors, playing age appropriate roles. Cruise is at his best here. The care he took to make this film feel as real as possible, was quiet evident. Cruise is likely the last of the "movie star". His charisma still leaps off the screen, when he "gives you that look". Is it Godfather 2 level sequel? I would say no....but it is damn good.

Just awful. Nothing redeeming about it.

It is absolute garbage. There was an opportunity make a campy fun movie, but this isn’t it.
