A little bit sappy sometimes but it's enjoyable and the sci-fi mystery element keeps it interesting. Every character in it is quirky and cute which is fine but can be a bit irritating, there's a lot of "opening up in front of the whole town" moments which are a bit cringey. I'm hoping it does get a bit darker for S2 as it deffo has the potential to go all "Ted Lasso" vomit inducing sappy and that would ruin it for me.
