For those expecting it to be anything like the original 80's movie think again. Its just a regular relationship movie, with 5 mins at the end that gives you a little bit of a "war" of the roses element. So be warned its nothing like the original and nowhere as good. In fact the movie is so much nothing like the original that in the last 5 mins of the movie it just felt out of nowhere, for these characters in THIS movie, these roses would not do what they did to each other, it just wasn't their character. I think this is just one of those movies that is connected in name only.

I saw this film years ago when it came out and have watched it numerous times. It's real, painful, but also kind of beautiful, a movie we can all relate to in some way. It's not a happy movie, but I love it in a bittersweet, melancholic way, if that makes sense. The performances are grounded and brilliant, and the casting is just perfect. The movie makes you feel like a fly on the wall, watching the human experience, not a film.

Pure and utter trash. don't waste your time. These people live in a house that probably costs close to or more than a million. Yet we are meant to believe they dont have £2000 to pay the plumber. Who wrote this?!

You can't trust reviews these days, all these studios using bots for reviews. Most of these positive reviews are such a joke. Don't waste your time on this movie. You've been warned. It's a complete nothing burger with a unfilling ending. The only good thing about this movie is Tyrese is not playing the usual clown he does in the FAF movies. Such wasted potential as it started ok i guess. Thought it was going to be this action packed intense film that tied into the riots. But nope.

Super dupa borefest. All the fuss must have just been about the good looking people, because that's all society is obsessed with these days.

I saw this way back when it was released, but didn’t really remember it. I watched it again recently, and all I can say is it's SOOO hilarious. They would never make this movie today because people are just way too sheltered and sensitive now. So, it's not for THOSE types of people, but I recommend it because it really is funny. Also, a lot of the stars aged well. I can’t believe how old this movie is

NOW this is the quality of movies NETFLIX need to be putting out. Not that fast food movie crap like The UNION with Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry, or ATLAS with Jennifer Lopez. They raise prices on us to pay those A list stars to be in trash. Very engaging movie, 100% worth a watch. GREAT ACTING ALL AROUND!

So many long reviews on here already so i'll keep it short and sweet. Its very borrrrrrrring. Literally was struggling to stay awake. I wouldn't even rate it better than the originals , the 60's, 70's or the 2001 movies. Only thing this movie has going for it is the FX/CGI/Mocap. Not a good start if this is meant to be another trilogy. Not the greatest story either, very generic and obvious from the start. ESPECIALLY that the girl was faking it, you just knew she not what she seemed. It was dumb. She had modern close on while the other humans looked like cave people with cloth pants, so you knew something wasn't right about her. It's a pass.

Either more people are used to terrible movies these days and accepted that is the new standard, or more and more fake reviews and shill critics are becoming more common place. Also im pretty sure its getting positive reviews because some people are just in love with Sidney Sweeney. This movie is rated 60% "audience score" and 71% certified fresh from "critics" I'm calling Bull on that. No way. Save yourself the trouble and watch something like Rosemary's Baby (1968) or the 2014 TV mini series or any old movie of this kind. 10x better than this nothing burger of a film.
