This really caught me off guard. Don't get fooled by the animal-looking characters. The story is much maturely presented than it looks at first. When every piece will start coming together, you are going to realize how well it was all written to fit since the beginning. It consists of more subplots that you could presume (even until the very end) and each of them very maturely written on their own as well as well-crafted to fit/overlap with each other.

Pure action. I don't know what character and world building people are talking about. All you know about the character is that he lost his wife which he had only one video together to recall. No solid storyline whatsoever. The main character is just frustrated and goes on to take revenge for his car and dog. And that's it to the story. No emotional build up, no backstories to get acquainted with the characters, no personal touches at all. It's hard to even say it's cliche cause other action movies might make atleast some ground rules to build up the story. You won't find anything here.
