This movie was...strange. The editing jumped around in weird places and most of the scenes barely made any sense or were completely unnecessary for the plot development. The acting was very, very bad and it didn't seem like anyone acted out the characters in a realistic way. The whole thing was riddled with plot holes and at multiple points in the movie I wondered how this thing even got released.
Not to mention the jarring music choices throughout. It felt like they were trying to make the music a focal point instead of letting it strengthen the scenes from the background.
I actually did watch the prequel (Army of Thieves) and it was a lot better. Still predictable, corny, unrealistic, and not without its problems, but significantly better than this train wreck. If you're debating which one to watch, do yourself a favor and skip Army of the Dead.
