It had Al in it. And Holly. But why they chose to do this movie we canโt fathom. We tolerated it for an hour hoping for some redeeming story change, but gave up, disgusted with the time stolen from our evening. And sadly disgusted that we can no longer trust that a movie with Al Pacino in it will be entertaining.
The movie is depressing, plodding, and after an hour going nowhere. I thought my wife was going to throw something at me if I didnโt mercifully shut Netflix off. Watching more incessant media coverage of the Covid19 situation was more enticing than continuing this horrid movie.
Then thereโs the scene on the veterinarianโs operating table, with detailed narration of the operation by the vet, as if weโre supposed to be galleried students. What were the producers, writers, and director thinking there?
