This should have been a FIVE STAR movie, instead it has some major flaws that lower the rating. First, the good: the acting is phenomenal and the plot is powerful and realistic. But the movie is severely let down by a mumber of issues: In order of importance: 1. The audio kept cutting out during the entire movie, with some parts having no sound at all. How that issue made it to the final cut is beyond me! 2. The editing is amateurish, at best. The scenes cut abruptly from one to another with no grace or flow. 3. The soundtrack is basically non existent. The movie would have been substantially better with an appropriate soundtrack.

Brilliantly caustic at exposing the mainstream's absurdities. Gutfled is a genius!

The script ran out of a "platform" fifteen minutes in and kept plummeting into an abyss. A movie that had me using the word "genius" after the first ten minutes slowly devolved into a gory, messy and ultra violent affair. What should have been a solid premise to build upon - namely, being locked up with a lunatic - lost footing to lazy, predictable and incessant gore.
