With so many terrible Stephen King movie adaptions to choose from they decide to remake one of the best ones.. The original is much better so stick to that.

Fun show with great potential. Very heavily drift car biased which is not a bad thing as drift cars are entertaining to watch, maybe just focus on that primarily in future series as the non drift focused cars didn't stand a chance. Also the young guy who won was clearly a professional driver and leagues ahead of the rest of the field who while talented were nowhere near as consistent. The show needs more balance, either use more pros with high budget vehicles or just use upcoming amateur drivers and have a mix of car types.
